Hi, Everyone! My name is Carol, an English teacher with over fifteen years of teaching experience. Quite impressive, huh? Well, the reasons why I’ve been in this field for so long is the passion I have for English and the born nature of communicating with people. My relationship with English started when I was 13, the summer before entering junior high. It was the time when most students had contact with English for the first time back in my time. And fortunately, it was a rather satisfying learning experience.嗨！大家好。我是Carol，是一位擁有15年以上教學經驗的英語教師。蠻驚人的哦？！ 嗯，其實我在這行待這麼久的主要原因有兩個：一個是我對英語的熱情，一個則是我愛與人溝通的天性。與英語的緣起要追溯到我十三歲時升國中前的那個暑假，那是當時大多數學生初次接觸英語的時期。很幸運地，我學習英文的經驗是蠻愉快的。 Learning a language is a process you need to concentrate and persist. Therefore, finding a way of staying enthusiastic is important. For me, it’s not a problem at all because I’ve fallen in love with it at the first sight. My advice for all beginners is that just forget about studying English as a subject. Try loving the language itself by doing something you really enjoy such as listening to English songs, watching movies in English, reading novels in English, etc. Go ahead and pick one! And then make it a habit.
